About the event

Join us for a donation-based Kundalini yoga class at the dispensary before we open! All donations go to supporting the Nate Chute Foundation. $5 minimum donation, cash or venmo. Donations of $10+ receive a coupon for Big Mountain Botanicals!

All experience levels and abilities are welcome, but guests must be 18+ to enter the building. Free coffee, tea, and water are provided! We encourage you to bring your own mat and blanket, but we will have a few extras if needed!

Kundalini is an ancient yoga practice that combines breath, movement, and sound. It focuses on breathwork and incorporates asana (a.k.a. physical postures) along with chanting and meditation. Kundalini derives from the Sanskrit word kundal, which translates to “coiled energy.” The idea is that we all have energy gathered at the base of our spine and, through the practice of Kundalini, we bring that energy up our spine through the seven chakras and out the crown of our head. “The process of growth through Kundalini Yoga is a natural unfolding of your own nature,” Yogi Bhajan has said. “Like a snake, you will need to shed old skins to be more of who you are.” The ultimate goal of Kundalini is to increase your self-awareness by silencing your mind and unblocking your chakras so that your vital energy can flow freely.

Join us in helping to create a healthier, more connected community! We are thrilled to be supporting the Nate Chute Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at reducing suicide in northwest Montana.  They offer evidence-based training and education to area schools and organizations to help identify suicidal behavior and build resiliency, as well as providing financial assistance for professional counseling to those at risk of suicide.  Founded in 1999, NCF is the only organization in the Flathead Valley solely focused on suicide prevention.
